iPad or Kindle for reading books

I want an ebook reader because I have to many books and hey take a lot of space. Since my space is occupied by books on the maximum I think it is time to get an e-reader.

So the question was: iPad or Kindle?

After reading several review and the products specs the answer was evident: the Kindle is better for reading ebooks.

You see iPad is something between a gadget and a netbook. It is ok to read books on it but the battery life is short and it is not a device made especially for reading.

On the other hand the Kindle is an ebook reader. The battery life is great – single charge lasts up to one month with wireless off – and it is lighter.

Also the kindle is optimized for reading in the sun.

So the winner is Kindle.
